Freedom of Information Act Requests

The Michigan Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides all persons (except persons incarcerated in correctional facilities) with access to public records of public bodies.  Requests to inspect or obtain copies of public records prepared, owned, used, possessed or retained by Orion Township may be submitted on the Township’s FOIA Request Form, in any other form of writing (letter to the Orion Township Clerk's Office, fax (248) 391-9984, email, etc.), or by verbal request.
