Lake Orion Schools

New Early Childhood Center – a new construction of approx. 50,000-sq. ft. located at the corner of Joslyn and Clarkston Roads. The projects includes a 24-foot wide driveway, new approach on Clarkston Road, parking lot, drop-off lane, and play area.

Webber Elementary School – the demolition and removal of approx. 16,000-sq. ft. of the existing building on the east side. An approx. 26,000-sq. ft. building addition to replace the demolished portion on the southeast side. New parking and drop off area to be added in the location of the removed building. Also, the addition of an upgraded approach, water main extension and sanitary sewer extension. The existing playground will be removed during construction. A new, roughly 16,500-sq. ft. playground area is proposed adjacent to the building addition.

Carpenter Elementary School – the site work includes a new approach and drop-off drive for busses north of 3550 Joslyn Rd., a re-aligned drive aisle and approach from Flintridge, and storm network improvements.

Orion Oaks – a two-phase development at the existing school. Phase 1 consists of a new approach off Joslyn on the north side of the site that extends to a new drop-off location and a larger parking lot. The parking lot south of the building will also be enlarged to provide more parking. Other site improvements consist of water main and storm sewer extension. Phase 2 consists of the New Early Childhood Center, additional drives, parking lot and utilities.

The project is located along the north side of Liberty Drive South, just west of Giddings and is an industrial building for the purposes of the cultivation and processing of cannabis.

Located on Brown Rd. between Estes Dr. and Joslyn Rd.A site plan has been approved for a home improvement center.  The 32.82 acre site will include an approximate 207,469 sq. ft. building material supply center, an indoor/outdoor garden center, an outdoor yard for pick-up and deliveries, and an approximate 52,732 sq. ft. detached accessory warehouse building.

Orion Village Crossing Townhomes
Located on Madison Ave. east of Baldwin Rd., south of Maybee Rd. 
The site has been approved for 13 attached single family townhome units in three buildings. Townhomes will feature two car garages, deck and covered porch. There will be two and three bedroom units.
Orion Village Crossing
Located at the southeast corner of Maybee Rd. and Baldwin Rd.
The site has been approved for 20 detached homes, approximately 1,700 to 2,100 sq. ft. with a mixture of ranch and cape (story and a half).
Kroger Fuel Center
Located on the east side of Lapeer Rd. between Glanworth Ave. and Summer Ave.
The redevelopment of the site includes constructing an 850 sq. ft. retail kiosk, a 6,216 sq. ft. fuel canopy featuring 9 fuel dispensers (total 18 pumps) and new streetscape and landscape elements.
Village Manor Retirement of Lake Orion
Located on the west side of Lapeer Rd., north of Greenshield Rd.
A new 126 unit, 122,120 sq. ft. non-licensed assisted living facility will be built on the 9.3 acre site. The two story building will contain 16 two bedroom units, 100 one bedroom units and ten studios.
Pomeroy Living/Beacon Square
Located on the Northeast corner of S. Lapeer Rd. and Scripps Rd. 
The development will provide 160 units total. 74 Independent Living, 51 Assisted Living, 35 Memory Care and 12 detached Villas.
Baldwin Square
Located on the Northeast corner of S. Baldwin Rd. and Jordan Rd. 
The development includes one retail building (along S. Baldwin Rd.) and 12 apartment buildings containing 89 units.
Bald Mountain
Located on the north side of Silverbell Rd. at Squirrel Rd.
This residential development has a total of 338 single family homes. The developer categorizes the lots by size, there are 114 Cottage lots, 147 Executive lots and 77 Estate lots. 
Orion Commons
Located on the Southwest corner of S. Lapeer Rd. and Scripps Rd.
Along S. Lapeer Rd. the development is comprised of a strip of commercial property, west of the commercial area are two residential developments. Villas at Parkview with 88 residential duplexes (44 buildings) and Parkview at Orion Commons with 102 single family homes.
